Initialize Blogging

I want to welcome you to my blog, where I will attempt to add to the conversation about technology and how it applies to our lives, especially as it relates to, well, my interests! Yes, there are probably several thousand tech blogs out there (a lot of the top listed blogs on Technorati are tech blogs), but I hope to leverage those to bring about some discussion on what different gadgets, Web sites, or generally cool tech stuff means in a larger context. There's no doubt that gadgets like the iPhone and social networks like Facebook have an impact on how people communicate and interact with each other. But do people think about what it means to be so plugged in? Let's find out! I also hope to do a weekly behind-the-scenes feature on this particular website, or the Drupal content management system in general. I've learned so much about Drupal this year, and I'd like to share some tips, tricks, and stuff I've learned while discovering what it can do. I'm by no means an expert, but I hope it'll interest or help someone out there. Now that you know what it's about, I hope you come back and visit often.
