Life Updates

Lots has been going on in my life recently, so I thought I would give a little update.

I had been working for National Geographic's website for the past year, but my contract has run out and I am currently looking for a job. If anyone has any leads on web producer or reporter jobs in the Washington, DC area, please use the Contact form to shoot me an email. I've had many interviews, but no offers right now.

Second, I got married! I married my college sweetheart on August 21 in Atlanta, GA. The wedding weekend was a lot of fun, and we saw lots of family and friends we've missed here in the DC area. We basically partied for 3 days! We left for our honeymoon on the 22nd to go on a cruise. It left from San Juan, Puerto Rico and went to St. Thomas in the U.S. Virgin Islands, Dominica, Barbados, St. Lucia, St. Kitts, and St. Maarten/St. Martin. We had a wonderful time, and I hope to have video and pictures up on the wedding site soon.
